Guillermo Trejo is a Mexican/Canadian Artist based in Ottawa, Ontario. He completed his BFA at the National School of Painting Sculpture and Engraving in Mexico City with a specialization in printmaking and an MFA from the University of Ottawa, he is an active member of the artistic community. His works have been showed at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Cambridge Art Gallery, Axneo7 and the Quebec Triennale. Trejo has worked as a research consultant for the National.
Currently, he teaches at the Ottawa School of Art, and he is the coordinator of culture for the Autonomy University of Mexico in Canada, a cultural centre to promote Spanish language and Latin American Culture in Canada.
